Google loves Chinese tyrants more than Trump, DoD

Google was, or is depending on who you believe, working on a version of its search engine which would meet the strict censorship requirements of the Communist Chinese government.

In addition the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff has testified to Congress that Google is indirectly helping the Chinese military.  In fact Marine Corp. General Joseph Dunford told Congress:

“Indirect maybe not be a full characterization of the way it is. It’s more of a direct benefit to the Chinese military.”

Meanwhile Google refuses to work on DOD contracts to strengthen the US military and,  according to some claims, is working hard to censor conservative voices and work against Trump's reelection.

For those who are too young to remember Tiananmen Square that was when the Chinese military killed around 10,000 Chinese civilians in Tiananmen Square who were protesting for more political freedom.  By the way that massacre is one of the things China wants Google to ensure that Chinese citizens can't search for.

It does not appear that Trump has actually used the military to slaughter tens of thousands of innocent Americans so it's a bit odd that Google, especially Google management, is so opposed to helping the US military and so eager to help the dictators who run China
