Democrat fascism: Packing the Court edition

A lot of Democrats are now calling for packing the Supreme Court to ensure that it continues to function as a legislative organization.

Democrats first proposed the idea back in the 1930s when FDR threatened to do so because the Court was pointing out that his massive Federal programs which, like Obama's stimulus package, didn't actually work were unconstitutional.  The Constitution simply didn't give the Federal government the power to do what FDR wanted to do.

While the Court was never packed--because the judges caved in to FDR's threat and rewrote the Constitution for him--the credibility of the Court was tainted for a decade. After all if the Court was really made up of impartial judges who simply interpreted the law in the context of what the people who passed the law intended threats would have had no value and adding more judges wouldn't have changed anything.

Since the 1950s Democrats have been using the Court to impose on we the people things that we the people would never vote for under the guise of what Democrats call the "living" Constitution.

In the minds of Democrats if the Constitution doesn't support what they want to do it must change; it must "grow".  But they also know that they can't use the mechanism in the Constitution to amend the Constitution because we the people don't support the changes that Democrats want to make; after all if we the people did we'd elect politicians who would vote to change the Constitution through the process defined in the Constitution and hence working around that mechanism wouldn't be necessary.

Almost the entire Democrat agenda, ranging from throwing faith out of the public square to redefining marriage, has been imposed on the American people by the Supreme Court.

Not only is there no right to privacy in the Constitution the people who wrote and ratified the Constitution felt that abortion was an abomination and they would never have thought that a word they wrote required that two men be allowed to marry. They did realize that what they wrote allowed slavery however and they agreed to that reluctantly only because if they hadn't they knew that the Southern states wouldn't join the Union.

No honest judge would have therefore ruled that abortion and men marrying other men were Constitutionally mandated rights.

Hence should the Democrats lose their majority on the Supreme Court their entire dishonest fascist edifice would be under threat.

If Democrats weren't fascists who believe that they are our betters and that they should rule over us they would never have stood for the Supreme Court acting unethically and legislating from the bench.  The support of the Democrats for the Supreme Court doing an end run around we the people tells us that Democrats don't believe that power flows from the people and that Democrats believe that they are our rulers not our public servants.

By pushing Court packing Democrats are declaring that the Supreme Court rulings are not impartial judicial exercises but that they are nothing less than a tyrannical imposition of Democrats will on we the people.  After all if legalizing abortion were a honest logical ruling based on the clear intent of the Constitution it wouldn't matter how many judges you put on the Court you'd get the same result.

But if legalizing abortion was an exercise in raw judicial tyranny then adding more dishonest judges to the court makes perfect sense.

By making the Supreme Court an unelected legislative body the Democrats have short circuited our Republic and created the equivalent of the Iranian government.  There are elections in Iran and technically the legislature and the President run the country. But they do so only within the limits defined by the ruling Imans.

In the US we have a President and Congress which run the country but they do so only within the limits defined by the Democrat run Supreme Court.  The fact that the Constitution gives the Federal government no authority to define marriage and the fact that more than 50,000,000 Americans voted against redefining marriage for the 2% of Americans who are gay meant nothing to the dishonest judges who imposed a redefinition of marriage on we the people.

It's time to reform the Court and end the Democrats fascist end run around democracy.
