Why you can't trust the media; Female presidential candidates edition

NBC journalist Marianna Sotomayor declared that 2020 was the first time in history multiple women were running for President.

She apparently forget that in 2016 there were 3 women running for President; Hillary, Carly Fiorna, and Jill Stein.

The tweet was up for 15 hours before being corrected.

If Sotomayor is so oblivious of facts any analysis or reporting she does is clearly problematic but if she was just careless that's an even worse problem since real journalists have to be meticulous to ensure that they're reporting the truth.
