When you've lost Gavin Newsom you've lost the left

Newly elected ultra radical--I've never met an illegal I don't like more than I like any US citizen--Gavin Newsom has driven a stake through the heart of Jerry Brown's legacy by cancelling the infamous bullet train to and from no where.

While sane people have been saying this for ages the ultra radical Democrats who run California kept on spending to the tune of at least $4B.

Interestingly Newsom is keeping the 110 mile stretch between two places that don't need connecting probably because if he didn't he'd have to send $3.5B back to the Federal government.  As always all Democrats care about is money.

But the real lesson here is that if even the radical socialists who run California can't make high speed rail work the idea that Ocasio-Cortez will be able to replace air travel with high speed rail in 10 years is clearly insane.

Of course that train travel would only be for we the people. I can't see the Democrats from California taking a train ride to DC that lasts more than 12 hours so I'm sure that if we ever end up in Ocasio-Cortez's Green New Deal hell Democrat politicians like Pelosi will take US government flights to DC and back home.
