#FakeNews media's fake "facts"

Because part of the Big Lie about Trump is that he's always lying, when in fact he's not,  the #FakeNews media is constantly having to lie in order to declare that Trump lied about something.

The "fact checking" done by leftists about the State of the Union speech shows just how desperate the left is:

1) Trump was wrong because he said that one in three illegal immigrant women are raped on their way to the US when in fact it's only 31%

2) The NYT said that Trump was wrong to say that illegal border crossings is a national crisis. First that's a subjective opinion not a fact so to say it's wrong is to express an opinion not check a fact.  But second buried deep in the NYT's condemnation of what Trump said is the following:

“record number of families have tried to cross the border in recent months, overwhelming officials at the border and creating a new kind of humanitarian crisis.”

So the same article that says that Trump is wrong about a crisis admits there is a crisis.

3)Trump said a fence in San Diego on the border almost completely ended border crossing but the NYT says that it was changes in policing along with the fence that made the difference.  Once again that's an opinion but the fact that the construction of the fence was immediately followed by a 91% reduction in illegal crossings is rather hard to simply dismiss.

4)Trump said we've been fighting in the Mid East for almost 19 years.  The NYT said this was false because it was 18 years.  This is significant because when you hear some leftist say that Trump lied 10000000 times in the SOTU this will be one of the statements being counted as a "lie".

5) Trump said that there are more women in Congress than ever before which is true. None the less NPR points out that women are still underrepresented under the concept that only women can represent women.  By that logic though any man who lives in a district with a female Congresswoman is unrepresented.  Basic point Trump spoke the truth but NPR had to act as though he didn't.

6) A NYT reporter tweeted that Trump lied when he was supposedly quoting a Holocaust survivor because Jews don't believe in Heaven.  It was pointed out to her that in fact Jews do believe in the afterlife and of course Jews living in a Christian society and in a world in which people refer to the sky as the Heavens and as such it's far from unbelievable that a Jew being rescued from a concentration camp by Americans might say that it was if those Americans had come from Heaven. But that didn't stop the reporter for declaring, without any proof, that Trump had made up the quote.

7)CNN declared that Trump's opinion that if he hadn't been elected we'd be in a war with North Korea is "questionable".  Disagreeing with an opinion isn't fact checking but be assured that when the left talks about Trump's lies this disagreement will be counted as one of them.

8)The Washington Post says that Trump is wrong when he said:

“Lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth.”

But the NY abortion law allows precisely that. True the baby is hacked to pieces or burned to death with chemicals before she's ripped from her mothers womb but clearly what Trump said is true.

These dishonest and deliberately misleading "fact checks" are all part of the left's Big Lie that Trump lies a lot.  The real liars are the Democrats and the #FakeNews media.
