Ocasio-Cortez wants to eliminate cow farting and airplanes

No this is not a joke.  In her FAQ about her Green New Deal she says the following:

"We do this through a huge mobilization to create the renewable energy economy as fast as possible. We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast, but we think we can ramp up renewable manufacturing and power production, retro t every building in America, build the smart grid, overhaul transportation and agriculture, plant lots of trees and restore our ecosystem to get to net-zero."

So while she thinks it may take more than 10 years to achieve her objective is to eliminate all cow farting.  Has anyone notified PETA about the mass slaughter of cows, after all PETA wants cows to live just not be useful?

Further Ocasio-Cortez also wants to eliminate airplanes.  That's right she wants you confined to where you live just like the original serfs were.  Sure she talks about replacing airplanes with high speed rail but given the cost and timelines associated with high speed rail in the Democrat run utopia of California we'll be lucky to have plans in place for high speed rail between major city pairs on the coasts within 10 years.

The amazing thing is that those two objectives, eliminating cow farts and airplanes, make her other claims look almost rational.  After all what's more insane retrofitting the 170,000,000 buildings in America in 10 years or genetically producing non-farting cows?

Oh and we'll plant lots of trees. Maybe we can reforest all the airports we won't be able to use.

While this is funny in a way the problem is that there is a significant portion of Americans, especially among the very young, who actually think this all makes sense.
