Tom Arnold demonstrates that the Democrats are the new Know Nothing party

Tom Arnold recently claimed that 80% of gun owners will either use the gun to commit suicide or murder a family member.

Now any intelligent well informed person would immediately realize that that was crazy talk. But Tom didn't.

The reason that anyone who knew anything, i.e. wasn't a know nothing, would have know that it was insane is the following:

• There are about 70 million gun owners in the US--and people tend to overestimate this number
• 80% of that is 56 million
• Around 34 thousand people die from guns in the US each year--23k from suicides and 11k from other causes including accidents and justified shootings such as by the police or women protecting themselves from rape
• So at the rate of 34 thousand per year it would take 1647 years to kill 56 million people
• Hence for Tom to be right the average American would have to live well past the age of 1000

But because Tom is an indoctrinated leftists who is mathematically challenged and driven by emotion-- guns are evil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because they scare me--it didn't even cross his mind to question his numbers.

While this is an obvious example we see this all the time from Democrats who say amazingly stupid things ranging from a thousand dollar bonus isn't anything to having the government take over all medical care in the US will reduce costs.

The reason that the Democrats want to dumb down schools, especially schools that Blacks go to, is so that the people can't see through the obviously wrong claims of Democrats.

The greatest enemy of the Democrats isn't Republicans it's logic and reason.
