Democrat hypocrisy: Paying for silence edition

Since there is absolutely no evidence that Trump colluded with Russia Democrats are now pivoting to say that he should be impeached because he paid money to women to not talk about consensual sexual encounters.

The hypocrisy of this is amazing given that there has been for years a House slush fund which paid off government employee's who members of the House sexually harassed.

So according to Democrats it's an illegal campaign contribution for Trump to pay off some woman to not talk about a consensual relationship but it's fine if the government pays to cover up when incumbent politicians sexually harass people.
