Remember the #MeToo movement was created to target Trump

The left thought that sacrificing one or two of its own on the altar of not all casual sex is ok would enable them to attack Trump due to his infidelities and sexual promiscuity in the past.

But that didn't work. Instead what happened is that in case after case we found it was "woke" leftists who were the sexual predators.

Weinstein for example is a hard left advocate who thought he could buy his way out of his troubles by giving more money to feminist causes.  But because the left was after Trump they sacrificed Weinstein.

Al Franken was forced to resign so that the left could attack a Republican Senatorial candidate who had dated young women.

But there seems to be an underlying theme to most #MeToo charges; the perp is a powerful leftist and lots and lots of leftists knew what he was doing but said nothing or helped him get away with it.

It turns out that CBS paid more than $5 million to silence women that Don Hewitt had assaulted.  Given the amazingly left wing slant of 60 minutes, the show Hewitt started, we know he's a leftist.  Yet CBS which is supposedly a big fan of women protected him for years.

Kamela Harris who refused to defend Prop 8 and who is now, as you read this, pondering whether or not to run for President in 2020 wants us to believe that she was unaware that one of her staffers had repeatedly sexually harassed a government employee.

And then there's Bill Clinton. I'm so old I can remember when the left told us that his ongoing infidelities and sexual harassment of subordinates--not to mention his alleged rape-- had absolutely no bearing on his ability to be President.  Even today criticism of Bill by the left is very muted.

The reality is that it was the left which tolerated sexual harassment until they saw an opportunity to attack Trump even though none of the claims that Trump sexually harassed anyone, as opposed to having consensual sex with them, has stood up.
