The flu is dangerous for kids but we don't shut down schools every flu season

In the 2018-2019 flu season 21,012 kids, between the ages of 5 and 17, were hospitalized for the flu.  That's 39.2 per 100K.

To date COVID19 has hospitalized 5.8 per 100K.

Similarly in the flu killed 0.4 per 100K about 4x higher than the China virus rate to date.

A perfectly valid counter argument is that the flu numbers are from when schools were in session and the Corona virus numbers are from when the schools were shut.

The obvious response to that is that the Europe has opened schools and seen no rise in deaths.

The simple reality is, thanks be to God, kids are pretty much immune to dying from COVID19 and teachers under 40 are pretty much immune too.

Keeping kids out of school, according to the head of the CDC, increases suicides and deaths due to drug overdoses.

Pediatricians say schools should be reopened.

But the Democrats want your kids to suffer so that they have a better chance of winning in November.

To Democrat politicians your kids are pawns they use to attack Trump and get more power over you.

Remember when the pandemic started Joe Biden and the Democrats opposed Trump's travel ban on China.

Democrats like Nancy Pelosi said that we should go into crowds in Chinatown.

Governor Cuomo said that NY was ready for the China virus--which for some reason he calls the European virus--yet NY has had the second highest death rate per capita of any state.

Democrats only care about attacking Trump not about your kids.
