Ron Haskins from the Brookings Institute summarized multiple studies into three rules that, if followed, rarely lead to poverty:
- Finish High School
- Get a full time job
- Wait till you're at least 21 to get married and have children
If you follow those rules no matter what your race you'll have about a 2% chance of being poor and a 75% chance of landing in the middle class.
Further Democrats discourage marriage by saying serial polygamy is fine.
Couples living together today are 12 times more likely to be cohabitating than they were in the 1960s.
More and more kids have just one parent; usually their mother. The problem is especially severe in the Black community.
But single parent families not only break the three rules; studies have show that they lead to much higher risk of early pregnancy, drug use, and criminal activity for the kids who are raised by just one parent.
It's time to stop waging war on the family and state the obvious truth; kids need a mom and a dad. No woman despite her insane love for her kids can be a father and no man can be a mother.
In many animal species only one of the parents raise the young but in humanity it's always been both parents. It's literally unnatural for a human being to be raised by one parent.
Sometimes it happens, a spouse dies, and in those cases we need to do all we can to help that parent but the Democrat policy of encouraging single parenthood is nothing less than an assault on children.
