He interrupted the State of the Union Address when Trump talked about defending our 2nd Amendment rights. But once again whose to say what we'd do if our daughter was killed?
The problem is that his daughter wasn't killed because of lack of gun control; she was killed because the government didn't do its job.
His daughter died because the police officer who was supposed to protect her decided to protect himself instead.
His daughter died because Democrats have made our system totally biased in favor of the insane and criminals. The shooter should have been interdicted long before he killed all those students but our policy of coddling criminals, backed by Democrats, prevented that.
There is no way we can imagine the suffering the Guttenberg family has had to endure because of those failures.
But that doesn't mean that we should nod our heads in agreement when he says that guns, not people, are the problem.
Back in the 1950s and 60s there was no gun control but mass shootings simply didn't happen. Similarly Chicago has draconian gun control yet thousands of people are shot there every year.
In a world where only 10% of criminals get their guns legally it's obvious that disarming honest people can only increase "gun violence".
The vast majority of shootings, including Parkland, occur in gun free zones.
The logic used by Democrats is that someone who is about to murder a bunch of innocent children would never think to break a law saying he can't bring a gun to certain locations. Now that is insanity.
It's like their logic that illegal aliens who break our immigration laws for financial gain would never ever break our voting laws to vote for Democrats who promise them more money.
In fact mass shootings that weren't were always stopped by an honest citizen or police officer with a gun. The recent church shooting in Texas resulted in only one death because multiple honest citizens had guns in church. Hence disarming honest citizens will result in more deaths not less.
Democrats apparently believe that all criminals are just victims of circumstance who should be coddled and that all honest hard working citizens are dangerous lunatics who will suddenly and without warning start using their gun to kill one another.
We can see this in the coverage of the recent Gun rally in Virginia. The #FakeNewsMedia and Democrat politicians acted as though honest Americans protesting for their 2nd Amendment rights were more dangerous than Antifa rioters.
When the protest ended, and the protesters cleaned up their own trash, the left acted as though some battle had been averted but the reality is that those gun owners have their guns every single day of the year and they never just start randomly shooting people.
It's all a big lie of course. Like all fascists who want to control every aspect of citizens lives Democrat politicians don't want us to be armed so that when they star really oppressing us, say by limiting the number of kids we can have to "save the planet", we won't be able to resist.
Look at Venezuela. If the people had guns they would have been able to overthrow the tyrant running the place and put in a government that would actually provide food for the people.
Due to a lack of weapons however the people of Venezuela are currently forced to kill their pets and go through garbage to stay alive.
That's what Democrats want for you.
Fred Guttenberg doesn't want that but he's been weaponized by the lying media into a tool to advance the objectives of Democrat politicians.
As Mao said power grows from the barrel of a gun and without guns American people won't have the power to resist tyranny. Remember Democrat Congressman Swalwell said that we don't need guns because if the government decided to oppress us and we fought back the government would use nuclear weapons on us.
That's who Democrat politicians are; people who think that the government can use WMDs against we the people if we don't do what we're told.
