Democrats hate people love the earth

California hasn't built any new water storage facilities to tide Californians through droughts since the 1970s.  The population of California has nearly doubled in that same time frame.

Why?

Because dams are considered evil by environmentalists.

As a result Californians are paying more for water and thousands of farm workers are losing their jobs because central valley farms can't get water.  But what's important, the snail darter surviving, is being protected by California Democrats.

Oddly they're using very capitalistic reasoning. They're driving up the cost of water to get people to use less of it.

They don't care if doing so hurts the poor.

They also don't care if what Californian's want is being ignored while what the environmentalists want is being imposed.

For example in Alameda County the water district will pay you to take out your grass, not weed, lawn.

You can't have a lawn in Democrat run California but of course the uber rich will be able to continue to afford to do so so in the minds of Democrats it's ok.
