Hunter Biden effectively admits he got his Ukraine consulting role due to his father's position

In an interview with ABC News Hunter said this in response to whether he thought if he'd gotten the very lucrative Ukraine job if his dad wasn't the Vice President:

“I don’t know. I don’t know. Probably not, in retrospect,” Hunter Biden said, before admitting his family’s political prominence played a large role in all of his dealings. “But that’s—you know—I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn’t Biden.”

So he clearly admitted that the Ukrainians hired him with the intent of influencing his father or at the very least ingraining themselves to him.

Yet we're still being told that Trump looking into Biden's son making tons of money from foreigners who had strong reasons to want to influence the US is somehow corrupt but the Biden family raking in tons of cash from foreigners isn't corrupt.

Remember that the one and only prosecutor that Biden personally saw to firing was also the only prosecutor who happened to be investigating Biden's son.  That's infinitely more concrete evidence for corruption than anything that the left has ever thrown at Trump.

But the other benefit was that the investigation into the corrupt Ukrainians who were paying Hunter Biden was dropped.  To unbiased eyes it sure looks like the Ukrainian paid the Biden's protection money.

And it turned out to be a good investment.
