Now he's saying that if Christian churches don't agree with him on the issue of redefining marriage they should lose their tax exempt status. He said that colleges, churches, and charities should be stripped of their tax exempt status unless they don't support redefining marriage.
What O'Rourke is doing is establishing a religion in direct violation of the 1st Amendment. He's saying that all religions must conform to the state approved faith espoused that he espouses.

Clearly he thinks that the 1st Amendment is irrelevant and that religions have to endorse the morality espoused by the Democrat party; just like Hillary Clinton has said in the past.
That's true fascism; politicians demanding that American faith traditions change their beliefs if they don't conform to what the politicians believe.
The sad thing is that O'Rourke isn't really an outlier. Nearly all or all of the Democrat candidates believe that people of faith who don't agree with the policies that Democrats themselves only accepted within the last 10 years should be persecuted by the government.
Can you imagine if Trump said that churches, colleges, and charities that support open borders should lose their tax exempt status how loud the left would yell?
Clearly they believe in religious liberty but only for those religious groups that toe the Democrat line. It's eerily reminiscent of the Chinese State "Catholic" Church or the Protestant church founded by the Nazis.
Just one more clear example of how the Democrats want to rule us not represent us.
