As a result the company that supplies gas to people said it couldn't hook up 1100 new sites since there wasn't enough gas to go around. While that might not be a problem in the summer in the winter too many users and too little natural gas will result in lowered pressure. When the pressure gets low enough--which will be on bitterly cold winter nights--the furnaces of customers will shut off.
But Cuomo's Public Service Commission has required the natural gas company, National Grid, to hook up those extra sites of face drastic fines.
That means that just when people desperately need heat their furnaces will shut off. Of course then Cuomo and the #FakeNews media will blame National Grid.
It's win win for Cuomo. Today he looks like a hero to environmentalists for opposing the new natural gas pipeline and to those folks who couldn't get their gas hookups. This winter when thousands of people lose their heat during a frigid cold spell Cuomo will blame National Grid and the #FakeNews media will cover for him.
So unless he's so stupid that he doesn't understand that there isn't enough natural gas to go around or he's so unethical that he doesn't care.
That the people lose doesn't matter to Cuomo whose only concern seems to be getting more power over we the people.
