ESPN has excoriated Americans for not supporting men using women's bathrooms, daring to support Trump, daring to support Christianity, and a host of other issues. But when it comes to calling out China for actually using force to oppress the people of Hong Kong all of a sudden they lose their voice.
A Chinese player in the Hearthstone Grand Masters was exiled by the American game company that makes the game and had his prize money stripped from him because he dared support freedom in Hong Kong.

Clearly all those woke NBA folks who had no problem condemning the state of North Carolina for saying that biological men shouldn't use women's rest rooms are suddenly silent when it comes to real oppression.
The Chinese government runs real concentration camps where over a million people from ethnic minorities are tortured and where many become involuntary organ donors.
That same tyrannical regime is using force and coercion to try and stomp out the flame of freedom in Hong Kong. That's not surprising since the tyrants who run China killed thousands of people protesting for freedom in Tiananmen Square in 1989.
Whats also interesting is that the woke folk are demanding we give up our plastic straws and cut back on our CO2 never say anything about China.
China is the single largest source of plastics polluting the oceans; they put 33 times more plastic into the ocean than the US does.
Similarly China is the biggest source of CO2 producing more CO2 each year than the US and the EU combined. In fact the US's CO2 production is going down under Trump due to fracking; replacing coal with natural gas reduce CO2 production.
Yet the woke folk continue to attack the US and say nothing about China.
Did you know that the Paris Accords allow China to drastically increase its CO2 production and the woke folk are perfectly happy with that while telling Americans we have to stop eating beef?
In some cases, like the NBA, the motivation for this disgusting behavior is simply greed and a complete lack of concern about oppressed people fighting for freedom.
It's tempting to wonder that in other cases, like the environmental issues, the reason that China isn't bothered is because the woke folk know their concerns are bogus and they only repeat them in order to get more power in America.
Finally one can't help but wonder if many woke folk don't admire the Chinese system where the "superior" people rule over the regular folk.
