One key part of it is redefining poverty to include all sorts of things from child care needs to internet access which is labeled a necessity.
Under AOC's definition around 40% of NYC residents would be declared to be poor; compared to 14% under todays definition.
The obvious problem is that how is the remaining 60% of Americans going to be able to support the welfare programs that AOC wants to deliver to the 40%? She could seize every penny owned by the 1%, and she'll do it if she can, without making a dent into the bill.
The reality of course is that she doesn't care; all she wants is to bribe enough voters to give Democrats enough power so that they can end democracy and rule over us. Once that happens taxes will skyrocket and we the people won't be able to do anything anymore than the people of Hong Kong can do anything.
Given that AOC is on record saying that the $174K a year she makes isn't enough to live on it's not surprising that she thinks that nearly 1/2 of Americans are really poor and stand in need of other taxpayers money.
But since she's a Democrat her idea of charity is forcing other people to pay more taxes rather than give her own money to help the poor.
