Sondland testifies that Trump was concerned with Ukraine corruption not Biden

Dishonest Adam Schiff is trying to convince us that Trump withheld aid to Ukraine until Ukraine agreed to investigate Joe Biden's obvious corruption in Ukraine.

The problem is that Sondland, the latest "star" witness for the Democrats, has said that Trump never mentioned Biden's name in relation to the hold on Ukraine aid.

Everyone agrees that Ukraine has a massive corruption problem, including Ukraine president Zelensky, so if Trump was telling the Ukraine that there would be no aid unless they showed that US money wouldn't end up in corrupt politicians pockets no one in their right mind would be bothered.

So Sondland, he who has gone from saying there was no quid pro quo to saying there was a quid pro quo and hence is clearly against Trump, is proving by his testimony that the story that other witnesses have told is true. Trump wanted to hold up the aid to Ukraine until the Ukrainians made a public move against their corrupt political culture not because he wanted Ukraine to go on a fishing expedition to find dirt on Biden.

What's interesting about this is that the same Democrats who tell us that it was a complete coincidence that the one and only prosecutor Joe Biden ever personally ensured was fired just happened to be investigating the one company, Burisma, that gave Joe's son Hunter $3.1 million are saying that when Trump said Burisma he was really talking about Biden.

How can that be?  Well it can be because Democrats have one core principle; if something gives Democrats more power it's good if something denies Democrats power it's bad.

Effectively now Democrats are going to impeach Trump because Trump wanted Ukraine to clean up its corruption.

This is oddly consistent given that Democrat administrations in cities like Chicago are notoriously corrupt so it's not surprising that Democrats aren't bothered by their fellow corrupt politicians overseas.

Of course the really ludicrous thing about this whole coup is that Sondland and everyone else agrees that Ukraine got the aid and Ukraine didn't start an investigation into the Biden family's corruption.  Even if we believe all the Democrat lies the worst thing that Trump is guilty of was wanting Ukraine to investigate Biden's obvious corruption but not actually bribing or coercing the Ukrainians.
