Irrespective of what you think about the Sister's beliefs what those Democrat governors are doing is no different than if they were going to court to force a Muslim butcher to sell pork.
The nuns firmly believe, as every Christian did before 1930, that artificial contraception and abortion are sinful. All the nuns are asking for is the right to not have to cooperate in providing contraception and abortions to people who work for them.
The nuns are not asking for contraception to be made illegal. Nor are they telling their employee's that they can't use contraception. All the nuns are saying is that they don't want to cooperate in something they think is bad.
Think of it this way. If you have a friend who smokes there's a huge difference between not saying they can't be your friend if they keep smoking and refusing to run to the store to buy them a pack of cigarettes.
All the nuns want to do is not help their employees do something that the nuns sincerely believe will hurt the employee's in the long run.
Given that no one has to work for the Sisters if the $10 a month that contraceptives cost is that important to someone they should just find another place to work just like Muslims don't choose to work at restaurants which serve pork.
This vicious attack on the religious beliefs of the nuns, and effectively of all people of faith, shows how much modern Democrat politicians hate religion and religious liberty.
Remember that Hillary Clinton said that religions would have to change what they teach in order to conform to the hedonistic "morality" espoused by the Democrat party.
Modern Democrat politicians hate the 1st Amendment, both the part about free speech and the part about religious liberty, because they want to have complete control over your life.
They want to rule you not represent you.
