Doctors push abortion for kids that could survive and thrive

Rick Santorum and his wife had a baby, Bella, 12 years ago.  Doctors recommended that the Santorum's abort Bella since Bella has Trisomy 18.  Doctors told the Santorums that Trisomy 18 was "incompatible with life".

Given that Bella just celebrated her 12th birthday we can safely say the doctors had no idea wha they were talking about.

Doctors often refuse to perform surgery to save such babies lives once they're born even though 80% of the children survive the surgery and 50% are alive 16 years later.

The message is that if someone says we should allow abortion for unborn babies who might not be perfect odds are they don't know what they're talking about.

Further it's better to let the child be born and then die naturally than to kill the child.
