While Democrats want to put people who need to pay their bills in jail Republicans are paying at least one woman's fine

Shelley Luther was sentenced to 7 days in jail for reopening her hair salon and refusing to apologize to the judge for her actions.

She told the court:

“I have hairstylists that are going hungry because they’d rather feed their kids.”

“So, sir, if you think the law is more important than kids getting fed, then please go ahead with your decision, but I am not going to shut the salon,”

This is what rich leftists don't understand.  All the #FakeNews media folk are still getting paid. All the government workers are still getting paid.  All the rich bicoastal leftists elites are too rich to be bothered by not being able to work. All the Silicon Valley workers are working from home.

But millions of real Americans, actually around 30,000,000, are facing life with no way to pay the bills.

Democrats cheer the government controlling people's lives.

But Republican Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick condemned the ridiculous ruling and paid the $7 thousand dollar fine that the judge levied on Luther.

Further the judge's ruling has been overruled and so Luther won't have to spend any time in jail.
