New York Times reporter shocked that people distrust the media: Corona virus edition

Have been talking to lots of Trump supporters across the country these last couple of days, and the disdain for and distrust of the media right now is worse than I've seen at any point throughout this presidency.

Clearly she lives in a bubble.

For eight years the #FakeNews media told us the economy under Obama was great, that Obama was great, that Iran getting nuclear weapons was great, that the US was the source of the worlds problems, that there were no scandals when Obama was president, that the IRS targeting conservative organizations was fine.

Then during the 2016 campaign we were told over and over how horrible Trump was while being told that Hillary's illegal private email server was just fine. The same reporters who kept saying how wonderful Bill Clinton, whose been accused of rape, is condemned Trump for saying that there are groupies who pursue rich famous guys.

Once elected the #FakeNews media lied about Russian collusion for nearly 3 years until Mueller shot that down.  Then they immediately pivoted to a fake quid pro quo in Ukraine.  After that turned into Democrats impeaching Trump for daring to invoke his constitutional rights against a Democrat fishing expedition they pivoted to a Russia Collusion 2.0 which died within 24 hours.

All the while there were voices saying that a recession would be great because it would keep Trump from being reelected--by rich folk who wouldn't suffer the way most Americans do in a recession.

Then coronavirus hit.

Trump took immediate action limiting travel from China and standing up a task force to address the problem.

The media's response was to attack the travel limit as racist and unnecessary; a position they haven't retracted even though experts now say that's a key factor in why America isn't like Italy.

CNN attacked the task force as being "too white".

But then Rod Rosenstein's sister at the CDC said that the virus would cause major disruption of life in America and the markets tanked.

Seeing that they could achieve their goal of keeping Trump from being reelected by destroying the economy Democrat politicians and the #FakeNews media launched a campaign to convince Americans that we're all going to die.

That exacerbated the problems with the market so the Democrats kept on pushing.  Instead of uniting behind the President they're working hard to exploit the virus for their own political gain.

Not only are Democrats attacking everything Trump does they're trying to make it harder for him to impose travel bans. That's right just when even Canada is looking to close it's borders temporarily the Democrats want to make it harder for the US to protect itself.

And Pelosi is tacking on abortion money and a variety of other leftist issues to the corona virus funding bill.  Essentially she's holding your health hostage to get around the Hyde Amendment and have the federal government pay for elective, ie not medically necessary, abortions among other things.

All this proves is that Democrat politicians don't care about you at all. They want you to be poor and at risk because they think that will cause you to vote for them.  It's the same ploy Hitler used.  Now Democrat politicians are all about killing the unborn for any reason at any time not about killing Jews but they share the Nazi's willingness to hurt the people in order to scare the people into voting them into power.
