Black Lives Matter takes a stand against free speech: Amy Klobuchar edition

Amy Klobuchar had a planned appearance in Minnesota last night.

Black Lives Matter(BLM) protestors shut it down so that the people who had waited for hours to see Klobuchar waited in vain.

Of course the fact that the Klobuchar campaign gave in is part of the problem but it's clearly BLM that thinks that free speech is only speech that they like.  That's the sort of fascism that Democrats and the #FakeNews media support these days.

What's more amazing is that there is no way that any sane person could consider radical Klobuchar a racist.  Their beef with Klobuchar is how she handled the case of a black teenager who killed an 11 year old girl.

The details of the case are here but the bottom line is not only didn't Klobuchar have any significant role in the case but that the teenager has been convicted twice and lost all of his appeals.  He was identified as the shooter, he was shooting at someone else and accidentally hit the young girl, and he has presented multiple alibis that have all been debunked.

The reason that the issue is up again is that 18 years after the crime two people who have never before said anything are now saying that they were with the killer at a grocery store when the shooting occurred.

The most amazing thing about this is that the victim 11 year old Tyesha Edwards doesn't seem to factor in the BLM position. Her father wonders why people are so eager to get her killer out of jail.  We all wonder how putting a black man in jail for killing a little black girl is a racial issue.
