Then Sunday morning Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer stepped in and declared that they wouldn't help you until they got what they wanted for their supporters. Pelosi's wish list included a huge list of things totally unrelated to helping Americans deal with the pandemic:
- Corporate pay statistics by race
- Bailing out all current Postal Service debt
- Requiring early voting
- Requiring same day registration
- $10K bailout for student loans
- If a company accepts assistances their workers must choose 1/3 of the companies board members
- Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining
- Full offset of airline CO2 emissions by 2025
- Greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights
- Retirement plans for community newspaper employees
- $15 minimum wage if company receiving assistance
- Permanent paid leave at companies receiving assistance
Essentially what Nancy is doing is running a protection racket. Unless she gets hers she'll ensure that you will struggle financially.
The hypocrisy of this is amazing in that just before Christmas Nancy tried to impeach Trump for delaying military aid to Ukraine by a few weeks.
Given that Nancy wasn't bothered when Obama refused to provide any military aid to Ukraine it's clear that she doesn't care about Ukrainians but know we know that she doesn't care about you either.
All Pelosi cares about is getting more power which includes getting pork for her supporters.
Also note that some of her requests are designed to make election fraud easier.
