Democrats label Trump being reasonable as lies because they want panic

Democrat politicians and Democrat reporters are horrified that you like what Trump is saying and doing.

You don't want to panic but you do want the facts that will help you navigate this crisis.

Similarly you understand that we can't shut down America for 6 months without creating economic consequences that are far worse in terms of human deaths than the alternative will.

Look at the declining life span of Americans due to depression, suicide, and drug addiction in areas where Democrat policies exported manufacturing jobs leaving people with no hope.  It's clear that Trump is right; we have to find the right balance between putting people back to work and keeping people safe.

Democrats hate that. They want you out of work. They want a recession. They want you desperate for  government aid.  They want you to be willing to sell your freedom for food.

That's why the #FakeNews media are running around doing everything they can to make you afraid.

The reality is that if you're under 60 you're more likely to die from the yearly flu than from coronavirus. If you're between 60 and 70 you're more likely to die from coronavirus than from the flu but you're amazingly unlikely, say at least 10 to 1 and more likely 99 to 1, to die from either.

The people over 70 are at real risk but even the worst case number are that they're significantly more likely to survive than to die.

Here are the mortality numbers from the CDC:

• 0 percent for those aged 0 to 19 (an age group that accounted for 5 percent of those included in the study, or 123 out of 2,449)
• 0.1 percent for those aged 20 to 44 (an age group that accounted for 29 percent of those included in the study, or 705 out of 2,449)
• 0.5 percent for those aged 45 to 54 (an age group that accounted for 18 percent of those included in the study, or 429 out of 2,449)
• 1.4 percent for those aged 55 to 64 (an age group that accounted for 18 percent of those included in the study, or 429 out of 2,449)
• 2.7 percent of those aged 65 to 74 (an age group that accounted for 16 percent of those included in the study, or 409 out of 2,449)
• 4.3 percent of those aged 75 to 84 (an age group that accounted for 8 percent of those included in the study, or 210 out of 2,449)
• 10.4 percent of those aged 85 and older (an age group that accounted for 6 percent of those included in the study, or 144 out of 2,449)

That means that if you're 75 to 84 years old odds are 22 to 1 that if you get the virus you'll live.

What Trump is doing is pointing that out so that everyone doesn't freak out.

FDR made a very good point at the beginning of WWII; the only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

If we take precautions, shut down the country for awhile, and pray the vast majority of Americans will make it through this unscathed.

Democrats don't want you to hear that.  So when Trump says things that give you hope Democrats say he's lying.  The reality is that they're lying to scare you so that they can get more power.
