As a result Trump's approval ratings have gone up; something that happened whenever the #FakeNews media fail to hide the truth from the American people.
These briefings are very popular. This is from an AP story quoted at PowerLineBlog:
For the three cable news networks, five Trump briefings last week each had more than double the audience the networks had for the same time period a year earlier, the Nielsen company said.
For example, Fox News Channel, CNN and MSNBC attracted 8.28 million viewers for Trump’s briefing Friday, nearly half of them watching Fox. [Ed.: That ratio is pretty typical of the three cable news networks’ audiences.] The audience for those networks a year earlier was 2.82 million, Nielsen said.
“When people are tuning in in droves to watch a news event, that tells you that they’re interested in it — and you have to pay attention to that,” said Jonathan Klein, a former CNN president.
So the natural reaction would be to draw in the audience and then make money from commercials in commentary shows that ran before and after the briefing.
Instead the networks are cutting back on their coverage despite the fact that has to be costing them money.
Like the Starbucks CEO who cost his company a fortune by declaring that people who didn't support the redefinition of marriage weren't welcome to own Starbucks stock the CEOs of these networks are stealing their stockholders money to push their own political agenda.
But even worse in this time of crisis keeping Americans from seeing what the President and their government are doing, from seeing what we the people have demonstrated we want to see, shows that the #FakeNews media is more interested in advancing Democrat's election chances than they are about you.
