Ilhan Omar is right for the wrong reasons: Trump and corona virus

Of course Ilhan doesn't mention Trump by name but the message is clear.

What she's unconsciously admitting however is that the drastic steps that she and fellow leftist support for day to day life in America are in fact only useful when there is a crisis.

Leftists act as though conservatives oppose drastic economic measures in times of crisis but that's not the case.  Rather conservative oppose drastic economic measures that are unnecessary and simply increase the power of government.

Representative Dan Crenshaw is a good conservative and he supports the government sending people checks in this crisis. But he doesn't support sending everyone a check. As a Congressman he makes $174K a year and he is still being paid.  He says that he doesn't need or deserve a check.

People whose incomes aren't impacted by the drastic actions being taken to fight the virus shouldn't be getting money.  But those who are, contractors who can't work because they can't leave their houses, should be helped.

Forcing companies to produce products that the country needs during a crisis is fine. Democrats want the government to run industries and have bureaucrats decide what the companies should produce all the time.  That's a recipe for disaster.  Every time a country has tried that it's resulted in poverty and oppression.

Democrats like Ilhan want us to be in a constant crisis so that they can have more power over us.  That they're happy that in a crisis we need to take extreme measures isn't comforting because to them whenever they aren't in complete control of the lives of we the people it's a crisis.
