Don't Panic: In the last 21 days 0.09% of deaths in America were due to coronavirus

In the last 21 days about 162,000 Americans have died. Of those 150 were due to COVID 19.

If we panic and let the economy tank because of coronavirus a lot more will die due to being unable to afford medical care or because of depression over losing their life savings.

The reality is that once the epidemic ends, probably in a month or two, the vast majority of Americans will be untouched in any way worse than what they'd go through during a normal flu season.

But if we trash the entire economy the suffering will go on for years.

Short term restrictions are fine so long as people realize that since it's almost only old people who will die when the epidemic tapers off all the hard working people who make the American economy great will still be here and able to to start up where they left off.

Which means that the economy will take off.

So don't panic sell your stocks and don't hoard things; both only hurt you.
