Democrat Chuck Schumer blocked more coronavirus aid to New York State

Gov. Cuomo just said the stimulus package could've & should've provided additional support for the NYS budget.

He is right.

Yes it's true; Mitch McConnell wanted to give NYS more money because they have a worse problem but Democrat Chuck Schumer blocked it.

Schumer did so presumably because he thought that it would help the Democrat party. Otherwise given that Democrats have never seen a give away program funded with your hard earned dollars that they didn't like it's hard to understand why Schumer did this.
