Counting on Social Security and/or Medicare?; Don't.

Over the next 75 years, if nothing changes, the government will have to dig up $13.9 trillion dollars to pay out what Social Security is promising.

That's nothing compared to the $42.3 trillion in unfunded obligations for Medicare.

To put these numbers in context they amount to around $170 thousand per person, adults and children, in America today.

This is the price tag of Democrats trying to buy your vote by committing people who haven't even been born yet to pay taxes to provide you with the "free" thing Democrats are promising.

When you hear Democrats or the #FakeNews media whining about conservatives "destroying" SS or Medicare what's really happening is that they're trying to modify the programs so that they don't go bankrupt in the future leaving you with nothing.

Democrats don't care if the programs fail and leave you high and dry in the future; they only care about acquiring more power by lying to you about Republican attempts to destroy social security.

The reality is that Republicans are working hard to try and ensure that you will receive SS and Medicare when you're old while Democrats are defending a status quo that will result in you losing your benefits.
