Joe Biden and the fake racist Trump

Joe Biden probably isn't a racist. But he's worse than George Wallace according to his own rules and the rules that Democrats are using.

Here are some facts about Biden that would, if it were Trump not Biden, would cause Democrats to declare him to be racist:

1) Biden on Obama: "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."

2) Biden had fond memories of working with Democrat segregationist James Eastland. Eastland said that Black people were an "inferior race".

3) Biden delivered  an eulogy at the funeral of repentant racist Strom Thurman.  Now given that Strom did abandon his racist past sane people wouldn't hold his against Joe but that's not the rules that Joe's using against Trump so let's play by Joe's rules.

4) Biden delivered an eulogy for Democrat Senator and KKK branch founder Robert Byrd. Like Thurman Byrd had moved away from his racist past but can you imagine how Democrats would react if Trump gave an eulogy for some former paid recruiter for the KKK like Byrd?

On the other hand if we examine the claims by Biden that Trump is racist we find that they all fall apart.

First note that prior to running for president Black activists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton sang Trump's praises. The lies about Trump's racism only date back to when he was a threat to Democrat power.

Rush Limbaugh does a great take down of Biden's lies about Trump here.

Here's my take on some of Biden's claims.

BIDEN: This president has fanned the blames of white supremacy in this nation. His low energy, vacant-eyed mouthing of the words written for him condemning white supremacists this week I don’t believe fooled anyone at home or abroad.

First can you imagine the outrage in the #FakeNews media if Trump talked about some Democrat's "low energy vacant-eyed mouthing of the words written for him"?  But then remember that Biden fully believed that the two formerly hard core racists that he delivered eulogies for were sincere. Apparently Biden believes anyone but Trump no matter what Trump says or does.

In response to the question "Do you believe the president really supports the KKK?" Biden said "He doesn’t deny them, at a minimum."

Well Trump does deny them and it would be good to remember that it was Biden who gave an eulogy for a paid KKK recruiter, Byrd, and that the KKK was founded by Democrats.

Rush compiled several examples of Trump repudiating not only the KKK but white nationalists:

"TRUMP: (March 2016) I totally disavow the Ku Klux Klan. I totally disavow David Duke

MATT LAUER: (February 2000) What do you see as the biggest problem with the Reform Party right now?

TRUMP: Well, you’ve got David Duke just joined — bigot, a racist, a problem. I mean, this is not exactly the people you want in your party.

STEPHANOPOULOS: (March 2016) So are you prepared right now to make a clear and unequivocal statement renouncing the support of all white supremacists?

TRUMP: Of course, I am. Of course, I am.

TRUMP: (March 2016) How many times do I have to reject? I’ve rejected David Duke, rejected David Duke. I’ve rejected the KKK, the Ku Klux Klan.

THE PRESIDENT: (August 2017) … the Neo-Nazis and the White Nationalists because they should be condemned totally.

THE PRESIDENT: (August 2017) Racism is evil and those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.

THE PRESIDENT: (August 2019) In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry and white supremacy."

It's unlikely that one can find a similar string of unequivocal condemnations of the violence of Antifa or the antisemitism of Ilhan Omar and Tlaib from any Democrat presidential candidate including Biden.

The reality is that Democrats are projecting their own racism, and hatred of Jews, onto Trump.
