This time he's being sued for refusing to bake a cake celebrating a gender transition. Given that science tells us that unless we change our DNA we can't change our sex believing in gender transition is on par with declaring the earth to be flat or believing that the sun orbits the earth.
A transgendered person is literally insane; they deny reality.
Hence refusing to bake them a cake would be the equivalent of refusing to bake a paranoid person a cake saying that everyone is out to get him.
But even if we ignore the simple fact that it's an act of love to not enable an insane person's delusion a key aspect of our Constitutionally defined freedoms is that we can practice our faith in our daily lives not just on Sunday in a church.
The left and Democrats object to that. They feel that our freedom is constrained by what they believe in. To them we can't live our faith if doing so goes against their beliefs.
Similarly Democrats in California have put in writing what Democrat politicians and the radical left Democrat base believe: freedom of speech doesn't apply to speech that Democrats don't like.
Owning a gun for hunting, personal safety, or to resist a tyranny is enshrined in the Constitution. Yet Democrats demand that we deny that right to we the people even as they demand shorter sentences for criminals who illegally obtain guns and use them to prey on we the people.
Are there any examples of Democrat politicians and the insanely leftist Democrat base actually pushing for freedom? It turns out there are:
1) Democrats stand for the freedom of a 12 year old girl who has been raped to be taken to an abortionist by her rapist without her parents knowing.
2) Democrats stand for the freedom to not have to work for a living even when one is fully capable of working but just doesn't feel like working.
3) Democrats stand for the freedom of burning the American flag
4) Democrats stand for the freedom of any and everyone from any and every country around the world to come to America go on welfare and vote.
5) Democrats stand for the freedom to libel/slander--i.e. lie about--anyone they don't like.
6) Democrats stand for the freedom to not give their own money to help the poor but to demand that all taxpayers pay for what Democrats want.
7) Democrats stand for the freedom of a woman to abort her daughter because she, or her partner, wanted a boy.
8) Democrats stand for the freedom to physically harass people they don't like and drive them out of public spaces like restaurants.
9) Democrats stand for the freedom for Antifa to use violence to silence speech Democrats don't like.
10) Democrats stand for the freedom to pay foreign nationals for unverified dirt on Trump
Not all Democrat stand for this but the ACLU which is a premier leftist institution in America has declared that possessing child pornography should be legal.
The reality is that Democrats and the left don't want you to be free. They want you to be a serf who must conform to their view of life and reality.
