DOJ says that DOJ employees are above the law

The DOJ apparently has a policy that if DOJ employee's engage in significant criminal activity they are immune from prosecution.

Here are a few examples of DOJ employees who committed serious crimes but who weren't prosecuted:

"One was caught red-handed engaged in nepotism. Another, a lawyer no less, admitted to shoplifting at a Marine barracks store. A third leaked sealed court information to the news media. And a fourth engaged in fraud by turning a government garage into a personal repair shop."

An even more egregious example is the fact that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was recommended for prosecution 15 months ago, for lying about his leaking information to the press, and as of yet no charges have been filed.

Given that McCabe was a key player in the attempted coup against President Trump his being excused for breaking the law is particularly troubling.

Putting DOJ employees above the law is an example of how a significant fraction of senior leadership in the government bureaucracy are fascists who believe that they are our rulers not civil servants.
