However Virginia Democrats just elected Joe Morrissey to the State Senate. He's served jail time for having an affair with his underage receptionist who he later married. His crime occurred when he was 56 and the girl was 17. The offense was so serious that Morrissey lost his law license.
Yet there was not a peep out of the #FakeNews media about this scandal.
Conservatives didn't mind when the truth was reported about Moore, though they did object to a lot of the incorrect reporting, but this silence on Morrissey shows that the Democrats and the #FakeNews media don't really object to older men having sex with teenage girls. If they did they'd have been incensed about Morrissey but clearly they weren't.
Of course the #FakeNews media have been protecting Democrats in Virginia against a number of charges recently.
The Democrat Governor, Northam, admitted to either wearing a KKK uniform or appearing in Blackface prior to denying it. Northam also said that fully born healthy babies could be killed if that's what their mothers wanted.
The Democrat Lieutenant Governor, Justin Fairfax, has been credibly accused of violent sexual assault by two women--one of whom is a Democrat activist.
Last but not least Democrat Attorney General Mark Herring has also admitted to wearing Blackface in the past.
If a Republican had done any of these things the #FakeNews media would be pillorying them nonstop until they were forced out of office.
What this tells us is that the left doesn't believe that laws or social norms apply to Democrats. That the law is a weapon to be used only against those who aren't Democrats. That the Democrat's lust for power leads them to allow Democrat candidates to do pretty much anything and get away with it.
