Mueller lies to push obstruction

It turns out that the Mueller report tries to show that one of Trump's lawyers, John Dowd, committed obstruction, while admitting that they had no idea if Trump was aware of it, by using a selectively edited quote.

Even the edited quote is clearly not obstruction since it wasn't offering Flynn anything to not make a deal with the investigators nor was it saying that Flynn shouldn't share any information damaging to Trump.

Essentially Mueller is implying, and carefully refusing to state the obvious, that a defense attorney asking a potential witness against his client for a heads up if that witness is planning on testifying against his client.  Given that that information would have to be provided to the defense by the prosecution it's clearly impossible for that to be obstruction.

But the unedited transcript, which doesn't appear in the Mueller report,is even more clear that Dowd wasn't asking for any sort of privileged information nor was he trying to cajole or coerce Flynn into not cooperating.

We can know that the intent of Mueller's team was malign because while their inability to show that Trump knew meant they couldn't indict Trump they could have indicted Dowd. Yet they didn't.  They indicted Mueller even though the FBI agents who sprung a surprise interrogation on him and who didn't let him have a lawyer so it's clear the Mueller team had no scruples about indicting people on tenuous charges. If their claim about Dowd was right they'd have a much stronger case than they did against Flynn but they didn't indict Dowd. That tells us that they knew Dowd's actions weren't obstructive but they deliberately distorted evidence so as to imply that they were.

This sort of deliberate misrepresentation of evidence in the Mueller report is just one more bit of proof that the report wasn't the product of an unbiased investigative process. The reality is that Mueller's team, the head lawyer of which stood on the podium with Hillary when she lost and who contributed money to Hillary, was intent on nullifying the 2016 election by pretty much any means possible that wouldn't leave them open to criminal charges--hence they didn't indict when there was no basis for it.
