Democrat Ilhan Omar lies about people seeking asylum

Omar said the following:

"We have to look at our immigration process through a humane lens and what this administration is doing really truly is inhumane and extremely unAmerican and it goes against our values," Omar said. "We're talking about people who are coming to our border, seeking asylum, and there's nothing illegal about seeking an asylum. We have an opportunity to use the resources that we have to properly process people and we have an administration that is hell-bent on making people seem as if they are breaking laws when they are just within the borders of what is allowed by international law."

First under international law asylum seekers are supposed to seek asylum in the first safe country they get to which would be, for many of those illegally entering the US, Mexico.

Second people who are caught illegally entering the country and who then claim asylum status are in fact breaking the law.  People who apply for asylum at one of the many locations in Mexico or at any border crossing aren't in fact breaking the law but if they refuse to await their adjudication in Mexico then the US has no choice other than to somehow house them until their cases are heard.

By pretending that the illegals in question weren't caught breaking our laws by trying to sneak into the US and not go through the asylum process Omar is demonstrating her hatred for the rule of law.  Apparently to her anyone in the world who wants to is owed entry into the US.

Remember anyone who is being treated "inhumanely" by the US can end that treatment by simply asking to be returned to Mexico.  It seems rather racist, to use the Democrat mantra, to say that illegals are too stupid to understand that they can get out of what Ocasio-Cortez says are concentration camps by simply saying that they want to be returned to Mexico.  Clearly the millions of Jews who the Nazi's murdered would have loved to have that sort of get out of jail free card.

The reality is that Omar hates America as it is and wants to remake it into a society where American citizens are obligated to work hard to provide the taxes to provide illegals a decent standard of living.

She and her fellow Democrats want to effectively convert Americans into slaves who must produce the money Democrats need to buy the votes of illegals.
