Joe Biden wants to shut down the oil and natural gas industry in America

 First Joe lied about not opposing fracking which is why America is now energy independent and why our CO2 emissions have gone down faster than most other 1st world countries. Then he was stupid, or demented enough, to dare Trump to post the video of him, Joe Biden, calling for an end to fracking:

Without fracking we'd have to buy our natural gas from Russia like New York State does since Cuomo refuses to build natural gas pipelines. 

Joe talks about replacing natural gas with electricity but aside from the fact that would be physically impossible given the amount of raw materials needed there's the lesson that even Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom of California has learned; when you phase out natural gas and there's a cloudy day with no wind you have to shut off power to people just like they do in Third World countries.

Even if we ignore those problems if Joe get's his way if your house is heated with natural gas you'll need to buy a new furnace.  If your hot water heater uses natural gas you'll need to buy another water heater. If your stove uses natural gas you'll have to buy a new stove.

Millions of companies will have to spend a fortune changing their furnaces, water heaters, etc and they'll pass that cost on to you.

Effectively by phasing out the natural gas industry not only will you have to pay higher prices you're going to have to spend a fortune to replace everything in your home that depends on natural gas.

Then later in the debate Joe said he would close down the oil industry.  Millions of jobs down the toilet.

You'll may have to buy an expensive electric car but since Joe is a fan of the Green New Deal he probably wants you to be forced to take public transportation everywhere including grocery shopping so maybe you won't be allowed to have a car.

Of course phasing out the oil industry is impossible since there is no way that wind and solar can replace gasoline.

As people have pointed out due to shifting to wind/solar there are rolling blackouts in California. Imagine adding the power required by ever vehicle in the state to the demands on the grid; Californians would be getting power every other Tuesday.

Oh and if you're one of the millions of Americans who work in the oil/gas sector you'd be out of a job. Not  that Joe cares.

Meanwhile Joe is silent on the fact that currently China produces more CO2 than the US and the EU combined each year and is drastically increasing its CO2 emissions by building new coal fired power plants. 

Why is that? Under Trump US CO2 emissions are going down but Biden attacks Trump but China's CO2 emissions are going up and Joe says nothing.  Could it be the tens of millions of dollars that China has paid the Biden family?

That would also explain why Joe blames Trump for the China virus and says nothing about how the Chinese Communist government threatened to jail doctors who were raising the alarm about the virus.
