Doctors say that the lockdown hurts more than it helps

These 3 doctors:

• Dr. Martin Kuldorff professor of medicine at Harvard
• Dr. Sunetra Gupta epidemiologist at Oxford
• Dr. Jay Bhattachayra physician and epidemiologist at Stanford

have issued a declaration saying that universal lockdowns are worse for people's health, especially children and the poor, than the China virus is. 

More than 10,000 other researchers and medical professionals have signed the declaration as well.

They list a number of ways that universal lockdowns hurt public health:

• Lower vaccination rates for children--which will lead to more sick kids
• Worsting heart disease outcomes
• Deteriorating mental health--leading to suicides and drug abuse
• Fewer cancer screenings--leading to more cancer deaths in the future

They say that the underprivileged will suffer disproportionately from these effects.

They say that keeping kids out of school is "a grave injustice".

Their analysis is based on our increasing knowledge about who is and who isn't at risk due to COVID19.

The mortality rates vary by a factor of 1000 between the elderly and the young.  In fact COVID19 is less dangerous for school age children than the flu. Healthy adults under 40 are similarly safe.

Hence the best way to deal with this virus, according to these experts, isn't to lockdown the country but to let everyone except the elderly or those with serious health issues live their lives.

That will result in herd immunity developing which is the best way to protect those at risk. Meanwhile we should provide in home food delivery to the elderly and impose rules about how nursing homes can operate.

This is real science but Democrats ignore it because they don't care if you live or die they only care that they get power to control your life.

Throughout history fascists have used fear to get people to give them power. People are all too often willing to trade their freedom for more security and the Democrats are trying to use that to get elected.

When the China virus first hit Democrats were all too eager to condemn any step Trump took to protect us and to urge us to do risking things, like Pelosi's advice that we go to Chinatown and mingle with crowds.

Only when Democrat politicians saw that the lockdowns were wrecking the economy did they suddenly get on board with them.

Today Joe Biden is actually blaming Trump for the recession caused by lockdowns while simultaneously condemning Trump for not having shut the economy down sooner.

And don't forget that Nancy Pelosi won't let you get a second round of financial relief from the impacts of the lockdowns until Trump agrees to pay off the debts incurred by Democrat mismanagement from before the pandemic in Democrat run states like New York and Illinois. She doesn't care if you suffer so long as Democrat politicians aren't held responsible for the fiscal mismanagement.

When you go to vote remember that Democrat politicians are ignoring the science and doing all they can to make you suffer and be afraid; they'll force you to endure anything if they think it will help them get more power.
