Instead of working with Republicans or holding their noses and voting for an imperfect bill in order to get relief to we the people Democrats, every single one of them in the Senate, voted against the bill.
The Democrats fought against the original relief bill for weeks.
In both cases they insisted that items that did nothing to help Americans vis a vis the China virus but which advanced Democrat's extremist socialist agenda be included.
Now, as then, Democrats are holding your financial security hostage in order to get what they want.
Democrats want you miserable when you vote in the hopes that they can fool you into thinking that Trump, not them, is responsible for your plight.
It's Trump who is for responsible reopening of society especially for those under 40 who aren't at high risk.
It's Trump who was pushing for a relief package for all those people who can't work because of Democrat lockdowns.
Yet the Democrats, who want you locked down forever, who reject any relief package for you think you're so stupid you'll vote for them.

you can rewrite this as
> Instead of working with Democrats or holding their noses and voting for an imperfect bill in order to get relief to we the people Republicans refused to allow the Democratic house bill that passed months ago to even go up for a vote in the senate
the GOP bill intentionally included poison pills they knew democrats wouldn't like and for months the GOP couldn't even come up with any bill amongst themselves. WaPo sums it up well:
