The Left's view of freedom: throwing people out of restaurants edition

The Washington Post published an editorial by the infamous owner, Stephanie Wilkinson, of the Red Hen restaurant, the restaurant which threw Sarah Sanders out, saying that woke people have an obligation to throw people out who they disagree with at least until a Democrat is elected President.

Odds are she also feels that a Christian baker should be forced to bake a cake for a gay wedding.

That's the Left today; freedom for me but not for thee.

They feel perfectly comfortable throwing conservatives out of their restaurant because they know that conservatives are better people than they are and hence conservatives won't start throwing leftists out.

We all know that the people that run Chick Fil A are conservative but they hire and serve anyone irrespective of their ideology.  That's what America is about; tolerance and diversity.

But the left today rejects both.  Oh they use the terms but they don't really know what the words mean.

To the left everyone must tolerate the left and to be diverse leftists must be included but leftists feel no obligation to tolerate others or include anyone they don't like.

The problem is that this sort of fascist brinkmanship could lead the US to a very sad place.  With blue check "journalists" on Twitter saying beating up journalists is ok so long as they're conservative and with the WaPo endorsing the harassment of their political opponents in public places we're getting very close to a place where the vast majority of Americans who do in fact value tolerance are going to start  responding in kind.
