Left wing New York Times goes all in for Russia; will wonders never cease

The amazingly biased left wing New York Times is constantly attacking Trump for supposedly doing the bidding of Putin and putting Russian interests ahead of American interests.

That in spite of the fact that other than the few times that Trump has tried to woo Putin into making a deal favorable to the US by complimenting Putin the NYT can't point to anything that Trump has done that hurts America and helps Russia.  In fact from confronting Russia in Syria to providing offensive weapons to the Ukraine, which is being invaded by Russia, everything Trump has done has hurt Russia and helped the US.

What's amazing is that the NYT has just seriously hurt the United States and helped Russia by publishing a story claiming that the US has inserted malicious software into Russia infrastructure, such as power grids.

While we know that NYT reporters are generally clueless about technology issues it only requires a modicum of common sense to realize that once the Russians realize that there is malicious code in their system they will be able to find it and remove it.

Hence by telling the world about the US efforts the NYT is helping Russia and destroying the utility of what was a highly classified program which would have given the US a great edge in any conflict with Russia.

The NYT said that government officials weren't worried about the story being made public which makes no sense.  The NYT speculates that that was because the US wanted the Russians to know which doesn't seem reasonable.  After all it while it could make sense to let the Russians know it doesn't make sense to announce to the whole world that we violated another countries sovereignty. If the story isn't true they still wouldn't want it out there because our violating international law vis a vis Russia isn't going to help US standing internationally.

President Trump has said that the story isn't true.  Now to be honest I wouldn't expect a president, Democrat or Republican, to be honest on this sort of thing.  But if the story is true then the NYT has greatly hurt the US.

But if it's not true it's also greatly hurt the US.  If the US hasn't hidden malicious code in Russian power plants then saying that it has makes the US look bad for something the US hasn't done.

Either way the NYT showed that it's loyalty is to Russia not the US.
