Ocasio-Cortez compares temporarily incarcerating criminals with the Holocaust

On Monday evening in a live streaming event Ocasio-Cortez said the following about the detention centers where people caught illegally entering the US are temporarily detained:

“That is exactly what they are. They are concentration camps,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “The fact that concentrations camps are now an institutionalized practice in the Home of the Free is extraordinarily disturbing and we need to do something about it.”

She's clearly intending to compare detention centers to the camps where the Nazi's murdered 6,000,000 Jews.  She can't be condemning the fact that criminals are being held temporarily since that's not just something the government can do it's something the government is required to do.

From this quote it's abundantly clear that she's comparing the detention centers with the Holocaust:

“concerned enough with humanity to say that ‘never again’ means something,”

The phrase "never again" is used to describe the Holocaust and how humanity can't allow that sort of genocidal madness to occur again especially against Jews.

It's utterly despicable to compare the temporary incarceration of people who have broken our laws, laws passed by Democrats, and tried to break into our country with the mass murder of Jews.

She went on to say that detaining illegals rather than just letting them start collecting welfare is "fascist":

“I don’t use those words to just throw bombs,” she said. “I use that word because that is what an administration that creates concentration camps is. A presidency that creates concentration camps is fascist, and it’s very difficult to say that.”

Aside from the fact that the detention camps aren't concentration camps there's the little problem that a Democrat icon, FDR, put Japanese Americans into detention centers and it's unlikely that Ocasio-Cortez is going to call him a fascist.

Of course Obama put illegals into concentration camps too with nary a peep of protest from Ocasio-Cortez.  While Obama was a fascist because he refused to enforce laws he didn't like and because he used executive authority in unConstitutional ways his putting people who try to sneak into America in holding facilities until their cases were adjudicated wasn't fascist.

Her use of the word civilian is a very deliberate attempt to deceive.  For while FDR put American citizens into camps Obama and Trump have put foreigners into detention centers.

She also ignores that the only reason illegals are in detention centers is that they have refused to return to their home countries and demand that the US see if they qualify for refugee status.

For Ocasio-Cortez's analogy to be true the Jews in the concentration camps would have to have been able to leave if they just promised to leave Germany.  If that's the case Ocasio-Cortez should produce what new historical "evidence" she has to support that.

Ocasio-Cortez exemplifies the dishonesty of the left. She knows that detention centers where those who are being detained could leave at any moment if they just promised to go home are nothing like the Nazi concentration camps where millions of Jews were killed.

But she doesn't care about the truth she only cares about power and she sees the road to power entailing demonizing anyone who disagrees with her.

What's truly bizarre is that Ocasio-Cortez supports Ilhan Omar who would probably be happy if the Jews of Israel would be slaughtered.
