The claim that the Russians hacked the DNC servers wasn't verified by the Intelligence Community

One of the core claims by Democrats in the whole collusion lie was that it was the Russians who'd hacked into the DNC's servers and released emails, via WikiLeaks, that showed that the DNC had broken it's own rules and worked to ensure that Bernie Sanders didn't get the Democrat nomination.

Leftists were saying that the US Intelligence Community(IC) had come to that conclusion.

But it turns out that the DNC never allowed the IC to examine the servers. Rather the DNC shared a partially redacted document produced by a company who was paid by the DNC.

What that means is that the entire IC assessment that the Russians interfered by releasing the DNC emails is based on a partial report funded by the DNC.  Since the DNC used the claim of Russian interference to attack Trump they had a strong incentive to pressure their contractor to lie about what happened.

There is evidence that the speed with which the files were downloaded preclude the possibility of them having been stolen by a remote hack; the speed at which files can be downloaded over the Internet is much slower than the speed at which they can be downloaded to a thumb drive that is physically connected to a computer.

But the basic fact that the DNC wouldn't allow the IC to examine the servers should raise alarm bells.

The other thing to keep in mind is that the Russian interference was, according to the DNC, revealing the DNC's cheating and suppression of the Bernie candidacy.  But since what was released was true what the Democrats are saying is that it was bad that we the people knew the truth about what the DNC was doing.

Essentially Democrats are arguing that it's wrong for voters to know what the DNC really did.
