What Black mother wants her kid spending hours a day on a school bus and unable to make friends at the school she goes to because most of the kids live too far away?
Bussing ended because no one, Black or white, thought it solved anything and everyone agreed it made things much worse for kids.
The whole idea of bussing is nothing more than a way for the Democrats to continue to support high salaries for incompetent inner city public school teachers.
The obvious solution isn't to punish the kids but to make the inner city schools better. But that would require firing incompetent and uncaring teachers which is anathema to Democrats since teachers unions give a huge amount of money to Democrats.
