Democrats don't believe the law applies to them: Nadler edition

Obama's attorney general was held in contempt of Congress for deliberately denying Congress access to information which it had a right to see.

At the time Democrat Jerry Nadler walked out in protest over what he said was a "shameful" act.

What's interesting is that 14 Democrats joined the Republicans because honest people realized that Holder was deliberately trying to conceal a huge scandal.

Holder allowed thousands of guns to be smuggled across the border and did nothing to stop it.  Basically the antithesis of the gun control that Democrats always push for; one of the guns was used to shoot an American border guard by the way.

But now Nadler wants to hold Barr in contempt because Barr won't break the law.

Under the law Grand Jury testimony can't be released without the approval of the witness.  Barr has already supplied the Democrats with the full report other than that information but they haven't bothered to read it.

None the less in a bit of political grandstanding Nadler is waging war against Barr.

Clearly to Democrats there is one standard for their own people and another for everyone else.
