How is a reporter employed by the Chinese government in the Presidential press pool?

This is a bit of old news from early April but in a press conference Trump asked a reporter if she worked for the Chinese Communists. She said no but she was wrong.

She works for Phoenix Meida which is partially owned by the Chinese Communist government and/or a "former" Chinese government propaganda official.

Liu Changle is still close to senior Chinese tyrants and he owns 37.1% of Phoenix Media.

Another 20% of the company is owned by Extra Step Investments Limited which is itself owned by China Mobile Hong Kong which is owned by the tyrants of Beijing.

Finally another 8% is owned indirectly by the Bank of China.

That's 65.1% of the company the reporter works for that's owned by the tyrants in Beijing.

But the Washington Correspondents Association doesn't have any problem with that.

Probably for the same reason that they're defending China over the lies that China has told that led to the coronavirus pandemic.

The #FakeNews media will tell any lie to protect Democrat politicians and any lie that will hurt Trump.
