To the extent that Trump didn't act forcefully enough that was due to his experts telling him that extreme actions weren't necessary. The experts in turn based their recommendations on the lies coming out of China.
Yet even though WHO had evidence that China was lying WHO stood shoulder to shoulder with China.
WHO came out against travel bans even though some of its own experts said they'd be good.
WHO has commended China for its response to the virus; that made sense in the early stages when we didn't know the truth but WHO is still pitching that lie.
WHO is currently defending China reopening the "wet markets" which were the source of the China virus.
Oddly, or not, the current leader of WHO, a radical leftist from Ethiopia, got his job due to Chinese influence.
Trump has taken the quite reasonable step of putting a hold on funding to WHO since one doesn't keep funding a doctor who constantly lies to you about your health.
Democrats are throwing hissy fits as are the dishonest members of the #FakeNews media.
The first thing to note is that WHO actually has plenty of money since it spends roughly $200 million dollars a year on travel which it can't be spending now. Side note; turns out that WHO has been wasting your money on high quality or unnecessary travel and is only now doing anything to address the corruption.
Democrats say that you can't critique WHO for defending China now because Trump hailed China's response to the virus months ago. That sounds compelling until we realize that now we know that China lied and people died but when Trump praised them we didn't know that.
The reality is that Democrats and the #FakeNews media love totalitarian China because that's what they want America to be. They want to control your lives since they know that they're smarter, nicer, and kinder than you are.
That's why the left hardly ever attacks China. A few examples:
- China produces more CO2 than the US and the EU combined: Democrats attacks the US
- China is massively increasing CO2 production while US CO2 production is going down: Democrats attack Trump
- China puts 33 times more plastic in the ocean than the US--the US puts less in than North Korea--: Democrats attack the US
- China oppresses freedom in Hong Kong: Democrats say that Trump is a dictator
- China persecutes people of faith: Democrats demand that Catholic nuns cooperate in providing abortions
It is true that some Democrats have attacked China for putting millions of Muslims in concentration camps but it's kinda hard to tolerate another Holocaust in the making.
The reality is that our Democrat politicians and the #FakeNews media "reporters" give their loyalty to their global elitist brethren not to America.
That's why they're attacking Trump and defending WHO even though WHO's lies are one of the reasons Trump didn't act more aggressively sooner. Though keep in mind that when Trump was putting together a task force to deal with the virus, while Trump was warning about the virus in the speech Pelosi tore up, and while Trump was putting the travel limitations in place Democrats and the #FakeNews were attacking him.
If Hillary or Biden had been President the body count would be much higher and the curve wouldn't have been flattened.
