The report shows that out of 42 applications to a secret court for secret warrants to spy on Americans 39 had "major" defects. That is the information given to the court didn't comply with requirements.
We saw this in the infamous coup attempt by the Deep State. The FBI lied to the court and misrepresented the data it had in order to get a warren to spy on Carter Page, who was never charged with any crime, which effectively allowed the FBI to spy on the entire Trump campaign. That's because the warrant covered not only Page but anyone he talked to and anyone they talked to.
Among the lies were that Page hadn't worked with the US government in the past to catch Russian spies and the use of Hillary Clinton's opposition research as though it were a credible source.
The requirement to present the court with any exculpatory evidence was ignored as well.
While coronavirus won't kill more than 1% of Americans at the worst Deep State corruption can kill the freedom of all Americans.
Most conservatives have supported the use of secret FISA warrants for national security purposes but now if in fact the political bias of the FBI is so great that they can't be trusted to not misuse that power we may need to give up that weapon in the war on terror.
