The "whistleblower" was in fact conspiring with Adam Schiff and Swamp people to make up a charge against Trump. But that fell apart when Trump released the transcript, the accuracy of which has been supported by all the Democrat witnesses including Lt. Col. Vindman, which showed that there was no quid pro quo, no bribe.
Clearly the Democrats didn't think Trump would do that. But rather than abandon their attempt to nullify the 2016 election and keep Trump from being elected in 2020 they decided to press on in the hopes that enough lying by the #FakeNews media would fool the American people into thinking that Trump had done something wrong.
That's why Schiff held secret hearings. It allowed him to selectively leak information in a way that mislead us as to what witnesses were really saying.
That's the first way that Democrats are telling us they don't have a case. If they did then they'd have held the hearings in public so everyone could see all the evidence against Trump. But since Schiff had no evidence he had to hold the hearings in secret to try and pretend that there was evidence.
The second way that Democrats told us they don't have a case is that Adam Schiff had to make up dialog and falsely attribute it to Trump in order to make the Democrat's impeachment drive seem credible. Clearly if Trump had in fact said bad things in the phone call with President Zelensky of Ukraine Schiff wouldn't have had to make things up.
The third way that Democrats told us that they don't have a case is that they only heard from witnesses in the public hearings who had auditioned well in the secret ones. Testimony that was clearly good for Trump, like the OMB official who said that he was told that the reason aid to Ukraine was held up for a short time was that Trump was concerned that European countries weren't doing their fair share to help Ukraine, was kept hidden until after Schiff's hearings were over. Clearly if the Democrats had a case they wouldn't have to hide exculpatory evidence.
The fourth way that Democrats told us that they don't have a case is that they refused to allow Trump to be represented in Schiff's hearings. If they had a case they wouldn't be afraid to allow Trump is right to be represented.
The fifth way that Democrats are telling us that they don't have a case is that at least three of the four "expert" impeachment witnesses that Nadler is kicking off his phase of the inquisition with are rabid Democrats. One of them called for Trump to be impeached after Trump had been in office for 2 weeks. Clearly if there was a sound Constitutional basis for the Democrats actions they wouldn't have to stack the deck with radical Democrat witnesses.
All in all it's obvious that the Democrats have nothing other than an overpowering lust for power which in their minds justify anything they do no matter how dishonest or unethical.
